This team has not announced plans as of this writing, but it’s expected that the No. 50 truck and their multi-driver lineup are returning in 2018. They raced the entire season last year, split amongst eight different drivers. We could see something similar this season. Kvapil is the most experienced of the rotation, however, he may only get a couple starts. Ware made two starts and collected one Top-20 finish. Reaume drove the majority of last season with 13 starts and nine Top-20 finishes. The team didn’t seem to have equipment deficiencies, but the lack of continuity behind the wheel limits their upside.

  2. Travis Kvapil 2017 Preseason Outlook
The 40-year-old veteran is fast-approaching the 200-start plateau in the truck series. Kvapil should cross that mark in the upcoming season. He’ll return to MAKE Motorsports, where’s he spent much of the last two seasons racing. Kvapil has helped to elevate this growing truck series team in his time there. The veteran driver grabbed one Top-5 finish last year in the season-opener at Daytona and also eight Top-20 finishes. By most standards this is a very challenged race team in equipment and personnel, but they have improved. Should Kvapil race the full schedule for them in 2017, he should grab a Top 10 or two and slot around 16th in the final driver standings.
  3. Travis Kvapil 2014 Preseason Outlook
Kvapil is a free agent driver in 2016.
  4. Travis Kvapil 2008 Preseason Outlook
The BK Racing team made it through their first season of competition in the Sprint Cup Series in 2012 and Kvapil shone through as the bright spot of this two-team stable. The journeyman driver posted one Top-10 finish and ended up a respectable 27th in the final driver standings with this tight-budgeted race team. Kvapil should return to this car and team in 2013 and continue building on what he started last season. The one Top 10 and three Top 20’s he collected during the Chase is a hopeful sign of the future for this small race team. Kvapil carries the most upside of the lower tier Cup drivers aside from probably David Ragan.
  5. Travis Kvapil 2006 Preseason Outlook
Kvapil takes over the driving duties for the #32 team from Bobby Hamilton Jr. This team has been steadily declining the last couple seasons, and owner Cal Wells hopes that the former Craftsman Truck champion Kvapil can turn around the slump.
