After a four-year hiatus from behind the wheel, Gosselin, co-owner of DGM Racing, will step down from calling the shots atop the pit box and return to the driver's seat in the NASCAR Xfinity Series 2021 season-opener at Daytona International Speedway, DGM Racing PR reports.
ANALYSIS
The veteran racer will step out of retirement to make a spot start in the season-opening Daytona race. Gosselin will pilot the No. 91 Chevrolet under the DGM Racing banner. The 49-year-old driver has 43-career Xfinity Series starts to his credit and three of those at Daytona. Gosselin has a pair of Top-20 finishes in his three Daytona starts.

Gosselin shifted more into the ownership role than the driving role in 2021. He attempted but failed to make the field for the season-opener at Daytona. That has typically been at least the one start he makes each season. Gosselin hasn't announced his plans for 2022, but it's likely he'll attempt only the Daytona race in the upcoming season.
