GT Daytona Class Pole at Sebring
IMSA
March 15, 2019
Hindman secured his first IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship pole, taking GT Daytona class honors for Meyer Shank Racing. He posted a best time of 1:59.917 in the No. 86 Acura NSX GT3 he shares with Mario Farnbacher and Justin Marks, sportscar365.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hindman edged Robby Foley in the Turner Motorsport BMW to claim the top starting spot for Saturday at Sebring. It was a great start to the weekend for Meyer Shank Racing. The No. 86 Acura NSX GT3 looks very fast for this 10-hour race. Hindman and his co-pilots were just off the podium at Daytona a few weeks ago, finishing fourth in the Rolex 24. They look like podium candidates for Saturday's Twelve Hours of Sebring.
