Two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Unser Jr. was charged with driving under the influence after leaving the scene of a freeway crash. He was arrested after he was identified as the driver of a car that sideswiped another on the Las Vegas Beltway on Thursday, the Associated Press reports.
ANALYSIS
Fortunately, neither Unser or the other driver involved were hurt. Unser was charged with DUI, misdemeanor hit and run, failure to render aid at an accident and failure to report an accident. This incident will leave a major blemish on Unser's outstanding career.
