Balzan said it was a "great feeling" to return to the wheel of a race car, after being medically cleared to race again following a 12-month hiatus. The three-time IMSA champion turned laps in Scuderia Corsa's Ferrari 488 GT3 last week in a test at Buttonwillow, one year after undergoing a medical procedure that required Balzan to remain on blood thinner medications,

Balzan sit on the sidelines for most of the 2018 season. His return to action is good news for Scuderia Corsa. Although no racing plans have been announced for him yet in 2019, it shouldn't be too long before we see him back in action in the IMSA racing series.
