Malsam finished second in the Fred's 250 Camping World Truck Series race at Talladega Superspeedway Saturday afternoon.
ANALYSIS
Malsam had one of his better efforts of the season and a fast No. 32 Chevy truck at Talladega. He led 18 laps and battled at the front of the pack all afternoon long at the 2.66-mile speedway. Malsam made an all-out effort to get around race winner Timothy Peters in the last couple laps, but had to settle for the runner-up finish. It was just his third Top-5 finish of the season.
