Tony Stewart Racing driver Hines was injured in an accident on the evening of Monday, April 30 on his Indiana property, GM Racing PR reports. Hines crashed while riding his off-road motorcycle and was transported via helicopter to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis where he underwent surgery to repair a fractured pelvis, fractured left femur and a dislocated right knee.

ANALYSIS
It was a nasty accident, and fortunately Hines is listed as being in stable condition. Hines is currently competing in the USAC circuits and he will be sidelined for quite a while with his injuries.
