Fit or Miss: Premier League Injury Tracker - Gameweek 25

This article is part of our Fit or Miss series.

Some big goal scorers continue to sit on the sideline, such as Sergio Aguero (hamstring), Romelu Lukaku (ankle), Aaron Ramsey (thigh), and Loic Remy (suspension), which is only the tip of the iceberg for the injuries heading into Gameweek 25.

As a reminder, the players mentioned below are only a few of those that are battling injuries, or getting ready to return. If you're looking for a full list, you can find that here. And if it's a specific player you're looking for, just search for them above and all of their injury information will be listed on their player page.

SATURDAY

Liverpool vs. Arsenal
The defensive injuries continue to plague Liverpool, with Glen Johnson (ankle), Daniel Agger (calf), Mamadou Sakho (hamstring), and Jose Enrique (knee) all out. The good news is that all but Enrique could be set to return next weekend. Lucas (knee) is also sidelined, but likely until March. Mathieu Flamini continues to sit due to his red card ban. Aaron Ramsey's (thigh) setback will likely force him out until March. Jack Wilshere (ankle) and Mikel Arteta (knock) look set to return, while Thomas Vermaelen (calf) looks doubtful.

Aston Villa vs. West Ham
Ron Vlaar (hamstring) and Gabriel Agbonlahor (ankle) are likely to be fit, although the former is expected to have a late fitness test to confirm it. Meanwhile, Andy Carroll is suspended after picking up a red card last weekend.

Chelsea vs. Newcastle
Fernando Torres looks set to return from the knee injury he picked up back on January 19. Loic Remy continues to be sidelined due to his red card ban, and Newcastle could also be without Yoan Gouffran, who continues to be slowed by a muscle issue. That means Shola Ameobi, who has been battling an illness, could be in the starting XI. Papiss Cisse's back issue will likely keep him out as well.

Crystal Palace vs. West Brom
Jerome Thomas may be able to finally return for Palace from his groin injury, while James Morrison looks set to return for West Brom from the knock he picked up two weeks ago. However, The Baggies will be without Nicholas Anelka (knee), Jonas Olsson (hamstring) and Stephane Sessegnon (groin).

Norwich City vs. Manchester City
Ryan Bennett faces a late fitness test with a hip injury, while Michael Turner (hamstring) and Jonathan Howson (back) will miss out. Manchester City will be without Sergio Aguero (hamstring), Samir Nasri (knee), and Fernandinho (muscle injury). I'm pretty sure they'll still have plenty of firepower.

Southampton vs. Stoke City
Victor Wanyama picked up a knock but is expected to play, while Calum Chambers faces a late fitness test due to a hip issue. Dejan Lovren and Gaston Ramirez remain out until March with ankle injuries. Marko Arnautovic and Jonathan Walters each picked up a knock, but are likely to play, with the former likely headed for a late fitness test. Robert Huth (knee) and Andy Wilkinson (heel) are likely to come up short in fitness. Steven N'Zonzi will be available after the conclusion of his red card ban.

Sunderland vs. Hull City
Steven Fletcher and Lee Cattermole are each out with calf injuries. Jake Livermore was forced to sit last weekend against his parent club, but returns this week. Allan McGregor won't play due to his red card ban, with Steve Harper taking his place.

Swansea City vs. Cardiff City
Swansea are headed to get some big contributors back, with Michu (ankle), Michel Vorm (knee), and Jose Canas (ankle) all expected back. Jonjo Shelvey aggravated his hamstring injury last weekend and will need to pass a late fitness test to play. Andrew Taylor (calf) is likely another week away before returning.

SUNDAY

Tottenham vs. Everton
Mousa Dembele (ankle) appears likely to play, along with Andros Townsend (ankle). However, Sandro's hamstring injury will keep him out again. Gerard Deulofeu looks likely to return from his hamstring injury, but Lacina Traore (hamstring) is still a few days away. Romelu Lukaku (ankle) and Bryan Oviedo (leg) are both still out for awhile.

Manchester United vs. Fulham
Marouane Fellaini (wrist) has been expected back for the past few weeks. Phil Jones is out after suffering a concussion last weekend, and he'll be joined by Jonny Evans on the sidelines due to a calf injury. Nemanja Vidic will return after finishing up his red card suspension. Sascha Riether (calf) is expected back, although John Arne Riise will remain sidelined with his hamstring injury.
