Fantasy World Cup: Player Rankings
Fantasy World Cup: Player Rankings

This article is part of our Fantasy World Cup series.

The rankings below are based on FIFA's official World Cup fantasy game, including my own projections on who will advance from the group stage and through the knockout rounds. As a result, some players who look like they should be lower than others are not because they are expected to play more games; for example, Paulinho is ranked higher than Gylfi Sigurdsson because I expect Brazil to play more matches than Iceland, not because I think he's a better fantasy player.
