Club Brugge vs. Aston Villa Prediction & Best Bet

Best Bet: Club Brugge to Win (+170)

Aston Villa are not the same team that finished in the top six in the 2025/26 Premier League season and won the 2025/26 UEFA Europa League. The losses of key players such as Youri Tielemans, Emiliano Martinez, Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins have affected the side considerably, and while Unai Emery has done a good job of trying to rebuild the squad, the results have been underwhelming with just one point out of three league fixtures (D1, L2) and no goals scored.

That makes Club Brugge our favorite upset pick of Tuesday's Champions League slate at +170. The Belgian heavyweights have won four of their first five Jupiler Pro League matches this season and have the benefit of playing at home, where they're in a run of 15 competitive matches without a loss (W12, D3). 

Even though Brugge lost a key player in Christos Tzolis, who joined Arsenal this summer, they still have a core led by Yann Sommer, Brandon Mechele, Carlos Forbs, Hans Vanaken and Nicolo Tresoldi. They should have enough in them to dismantle an underperforming, unsettled Villa side. 

FC Porto vs. Manchester City Prediction & Best Bet

Best Bet: Under 2.5 Goals (+127)

FC Porto have enjoyed a blistering start to the 2026/27 season with six wins out of six competitive matches, and they've also gone undefeated in their last 22 competitive matches at home across all competitions (W18, D4). They should put up a fight against a Manchester City squad that kicked off the 2026/27 Premier League season with three wins in a row after a 3-0 loss to Arsenal in the Community Shield back on Aug. 16.

While Porto might not have enough quality to pull off the upset against the Cityzens, they should be able to keep this game close. Manchester City have struggled against closed-knit defensive units, scoring once against Coventry and needing two late goals to dispatch Bournemouth in the league opener. Even if City are the better team on paper, don't be surprised if they have to fight hard just to score a goal or two. Back the under in what should be a close encounter.

Four of Porto's six matches this season have ended with under 2.5 goals, and all of their games have seen under 3.5 goals. Three of Manchester City's four fixtures have had under 3.5 goals, and the last one saw them score just once, so it's hard to see them dismantling Porto with ease. 

Real Madrid vs. Inter Milan Prediction & Best Bet

Best Bet: Kylian Mbappe Anytime Goalscorer -150

Real Madrid enjoyed an excellent start to the 2026/27 LaLiga season with three straight wins before suffering a disappointing 1-0 loss to Real Betis last Friday. That game could've easily gone in a different direction, however, as Real Madrid posted a 3.46 xG, 59 percent possession and 20 total shots. Mbappe missed what could've been the equalizer late in the second half when Alvaro Valles denied him from the penalty spot, but I'm backing the Frenchman to deliver a bounce-back effort in the Champions League opener.

Mbappe has four goals in four league appearances this season, but he's coming off a summer in which he was the 2026 FIFA World Cup top scorer with 10 goals. He also won the Golden Boot in the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League with 13 goals despite Real Madrid's quarterfinal exit against Bayern Munich. The star striker is a proven finisher who can wreak havoc regardless of who he faces. Considering Inter's defensive problems, which are bigger than their three goals conceded in three Serie A fixtures, don't be surprised if Mbappe finds the back of the net in this UCL opener.
