El Pescadito was making his season debut after joining the team late in the season, and he came through with a beautiful first-time flick over the 'keeper after an aerial pass was sent his way. Because of Ruiz's advanced age and the depth of attackers Dallas possesses, he is unlikely to become a starter, but he could be a valuable weapon to bring off the bench during the playoffs. He could make another cameo in Sunday's season finale against the Galaxy as manager Oscar Pareja looks to get some minutes under his belt before the start of the postseason.
