Jesus Lara

ANALYSIS
Lara played a full 90 minutes for the third time in what has been a promising debut campaign, though the penalty he conceded was the defining moment of his evening and ultimately the only blemish on a positive outcome. He drew four fouls himself and won six of 11 duels throughout the game, while his crossing numbers in particular stood out for a player in a central role and have become something of a recurring feature in the more open matches. Jose Alvarado's goal off the bench adds some rotation pressure, but Lara has done enough across seven league appearances to remain in the conversation for a starting spot.
