Van Oevelen just joined Ipswich this summer but is already on the move, as the goalie has been loaned to Valencia for the 2026/27 season. He was slated to be the third-string keeper with Ipswich, so this move makes sense, as the loan should mean Valencia uses him in some capacity. Valencia currently has Stole Dimitrievski and Cristian Rivero available at keeper, with van Oevelen likely to see more of a backup role and see time in domestic cups.
