As always, Step 1 in building a good lineup: make sure your players are starting. There is a bit of guesswork in projecting lineups until they are actually announced, and all recommendations and projections are subject to change based on this. All said, be sure to check the lineups page approximately one hour before kickoff.

Goalkeepers:

Maarten Stekelenburg v. STK ($3,400): Simply, Stekelenburg is underpriced. David de Gea is $4,400 as a 10/11 road favorite while Stekelenburg is $1,000 cheaper and a heavier 4/7 favorite at home.

Joe Hart vs. LIV ($3,700): Same boat as Stekelenburg. Maybe the ownership will be lower with the opponent being Liverpool too.

Other goalkeepers to consider:Heurelho Gomes v. MUN ($3,100); Tim Howard v. AVL ($3,900); Petr Cech at WBA ($4,000); Lukasz Fabianski v. BOU ($3,800)

Defenders:

Christian Fuchs at NEW ($3,000): Fuchs stands a good chance to be the most productive defender on the day, as Newcastle is infamous for giving up huge quantities of peripheral stats.

Cedric Soares v. STK ($3,200): Southampton is one of the heavier favorites taking on Stoke at home, and Cedric is a great pairing with his keeper.

Daryl Janmaat v. LEI ($3,500): Janmaat is one of the most productive fullbacks in the Premier League as long as he keeps his temperament, and he's been well behaved most of this season.

Kieran Gibbs at WBA ($2,700): Gibbs makes the cut because he's come off the bench and played a wing/forward position, and there's a chance he could start there against West Brom.

Other defenders to consider:Nacho Monreal at WBA ($4,000);Juan Carlos Paredes v. MUN ($2,100); Marcos Rojo at WAT ($3,500); Matteo Darmian at WAT ($3,100); Brendan Galloway v. AVL ($2,600)

Midfielders:

Dusan Tadic at STK ($7,500): Tadic comes up with big scores every week. He delivers a huge amount of crosses and has a high efficiency in directly contributing to goals too. He has been and will continue to be a fixture in all cash game lineups.

Ross Barkley v. AVL ($6,500): Barkley's last two performances (totaling eight and nine fantasy points, respectively) were his lowest scores of the Premier League season. Barkley is Everton's most active player on the ball and stands a huge chance to have a big uptick in fantasy scoring, as his scores over recent weeks have been much lower than his potential output.

Mesut Ozil at WBA ($7,000): Ozil is the motor that makes Arsenal run, especially when Alexis Sanchez is off the pitch. He takes corners, delivers passes with unmatched accuracy and decisively leads the Premier League in assists.

Other midfielders to consider:Jonjo Shelvey v. BOU ($4,700); Jefferson Montero v. BOU ($4,500); Riyad Mahrez at NEW ($7,800); Willian v. NOR ($5,500); Santi Cazorla at WBA ($5,800); Ander Herrera at WAT ($4,300); Juan Mata at WAT ($6,600); Georginio Wijnaldum v. LEI ($4,800); Jesse Lingard at WAT ($3,200); Junior Stanislas at SWA ($3,300); Marc Albrighton at NEW ($6,000); Oscar v. NOR ($5,200); Sadio Mane v. STK ($7,100); Kevin De Bruyne v. LIV ($7,400); Jeffrey Schlupp at NEW ($3,600); David Silva v. LIV ($6,000)

Forwards:

Gerard Deulofeu v. AVL ($4,500): He's becoming a fixture in the forward spot and there's no reason to change now. For his price, he definitively has the highest floor of any forward thanks to his crosses. There's no better cash game option.

Bafetimbi Gomis v. BOU ($6,100): I recommend some exposure to Swansea. Gomis has the lowest floor of their notable players, but also holds the best chance to score. He hasn't scored in eight weeks and has had very low scores repeatedly since that last goal, but these reasons also make him a good tournament play, as its hard to see him having a high ownership percentage.

Other forwards to consider:Joel Campbell at WBA ($4,500); Raheem Sterling v. LIV ($6,400); Olivier Giroud at WBA ($6,500); Ayoze Perez v. LEI ($5,300); Romelu Lukaku v. AVL ($7,400); Graziano Pelle v. STK ($7,000); Wayne Rooney at WAT ($6,800); Wilfried Bony v. LIV ($5,700)
