The 31-year-old lost her only main draw WTA match of 2020 by a lopsided score of 6-1, 6-0 to Paula Badosa in Round 1 of the Australian Open, and this came after finishing with a 3-13 record in 2019. Her career achievements include a No. 45 ranking back in 2016, two WTA titles and 13 ITF titles.
