Best WNBA Bets Today: Friday, August 21
Courtney Williams Under 19.5 Points + Assists (-120) at Washington Mystics

Steve Bulanda: The trends, the matchup and the situation all point to the under here, which is actually a bit concerning. (Is it a trap?) However, we've won on other Williams unders that seemed too good to be true, so I'm going back to the well. Williams hasn't topped this number since Aug. 8, when she just barely got there with 13 points and seven assists. She hasn't had more than 19 points + assists in any of the past five matchups with the Mystics, including a five-point, three-assist game the last time they met at Washington. She has also underperformed on the road in general lately, exceeding this total only twice in her last 10 appearances. Lock it in at FanDuel before the number moves since it's already down to 18.5 at other sportsbooks.
Aneesah Morrow Under 13.5 Points (-130) vs. Portland Fire

Jason Shebilske: It's not yet clear whether Morrow or Julie Allemand will remain in the starting lineup for Friday's matchup, but I expect Morrow to have a somewhat tall task to reach this mark regardless of her starting status. She's been held under 14 points in five of her last six appearances and has also averaged 12.5 points per game in two previous outings against Portland this year. Even though her previous appearances against the Fire came while she was with the Sun, Morrow's recent production signals that this line may be a bit high for Friday's matchup.
