Elite WNBA DFS Players

Guards

FanDuel

Allisha Gray, Dream ($7,300) vs. Fire

There are several elite guard options to consider on Friday's slate, but Gray has a slightly more reasonable salary than some of the other players available in this range, and her production has regularly provided value at this salary. She's posted at least 29.1 FD points in eight of her last nine appearances, and while scoring is her strength, she has the ability to produce in multiple categories, giving her a solid floor for Friday's matchup.

DraftKings

Kelsey Mitchell, Fever ($10,400) vs. Sun

Mitchell has the second-highest salary of any guard on DraftKings on Friday, but her salary is $1,600 lower than that of Caitlin Clark. Despite the discrepancy between the two players, Mitchell has been consistently dominant recently, including at least 32.5 DK points in each of her last four appearances. She's scored at least 25 points in each of those outings and should continue to see plenty of looks against Connecticut.

Forwards/Centers

FanDuel

Aliyah Boston, Fever ($8,000) vs. Sun

Boston missed the second half of a back-to-back set Sunday against Chicago due to a lower-leg injury, but she's been cleared to return following a minimal absence. Assuming she doesn't face any limitations Friday, she's been an incredibly reliable option recently while displaying ample upside, and she would have provided at least 4x value at this salary in each of her last 10 appearances.

DraftKings

Angel Reese, Dream ($11,700) vs. Fire

A'ja Wilson carries some risk for Friday's DFS slate since she's questionable due to head and back injuries, but Reese is another stellar option with a slightly lower salary. Reese has been on a tear recently, posting at least 50.5 DK points in each of her last three appearances, including a monumental 26-rebound performance against the Sparks on Monday. The Dream are jostling for playoff positioning heading into the final month of the regular season, so expect Reese to remain heavily involved Friday.

Mid-Range WNBA DFS Picks

FanDuel

Aaliyah Edwards, Sun ($5,000) at Fever

Edwards recently missed four games due to an ankle injury, but she hasn't missed a beat over her two appearances since returning to action. She posted a 26-point, 10-rebound double-double during Tuesday's game against Chicago, and while she didn't post double figures in any category during Wednesday's matchup against the Valkyries, she still finished with 21.0 FD points. She's provided over 4x value in each of her four appearances this month and should continue to have plenty of opportunities to contribute Friday.

DraftKings

Emily Engstler, Fire ($8,300) at Dream

Engstler posted her second double-double of the season Tuesday against the Wings, and she's exceeded 4x value at this salary in each of her last two appearances. She generated 43.3 DK points during her last appearance against Atlanta, and I'm expecting another successful performance Friday, especially given her recent momentum. She's averaged 29.7 minutes per game over her recent three-game surge, up from her season-long 24.4 minutes per game, so I'm expecting continued opportunities Friday.

WNBA DFS Value Picks

FanDuel

Naz Hillmon, Dream ($4,700) vs. Fire

Diamond Miller ($4,100) was also a consideration for this slot, and although Hillmon has a slightly higher salary during Friday's slate, she's been more consistent while displaying more upside recently. Hillmon has posted at least 21.4 FD points in two of her last three appearances, including an outing with 38.5 FD points against the Sparks on Aug. 20. Even though there are several DFS targets on the Dream on Friday, Hillmon warrants consideration with her reasonable salary.

DraftKings

Cheyenne Parker-Tyus, Aces ($3,800) vs. Tempo

Parker-Tyus has had an inconsistent role for the Aces for most of the season, including over her last three appearances, as she recorded 32.3 DK points in one matchup but was held to 6.0 DK points or below in her other two outings during that stretch. However, NaLyssa Smith (leg) has been ruled out for the remainder of the season, and it wouldn't be surprising to see the Aces give some of their other frontcourt players more opportunities down the stretch in order to fine-tune their rotation for the playoffs.
