Scott completed 10 of 20 passes for 109 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions and rushed three times for 31 yards in the Argonauts' 30-13 preseason loss to the Alouettes on Saturday.

ANALYSIS
Scott got a long look from the Argonauts' coaching staff Saturday, putting up seven and 13 more attempts than fellow quarterbacks Nick Arbuckle and Cameron Dukes, respectively. Scott also turned out to be the leading rusher on the night for Toronto, and he may therefore have the head start on the quarterback competition that's the result of Chad Kelly's lengthy suspension for violation of league policy. All three players should once again see time in Friday night's home preseason finale against the Tiger-Cats.
