2024 Fantasy Outlook
Lindor played in all but two games for the Mets last season and posted an OPS above .800 for the first time since 2019. The 30-year-old set a career high with 31 stolen bases and also clubbed 31 homers, which made him one of four players in MLB to reach the 30-30 club. His .254 average is the second lowest of his career, but he also had career bests in barrel rate (10.4 percent) and hard-hit rate (43.9 percent). Linder's totals of 108 runs and 98 RBI were also the best figures among all shortstops. He also played through an elbow issue all season before undergoing surgery to have bone spurs removed in October, though he should fully healthy in plenty of time for spring training. Lindor remains locked in as the Mets' shortstop for the foreseeable future and should be an excellent fantasy option in 2024 as one of the more productive shortstops in baseball. Read Past Outlooks
Perfect at plate Thursday
Lindor went 4-for-4 with a home run, an additional RBI and a stolen base in Thursday's 3-2 win against Arizona.
ANALYSIS
Lindor suffered a swollen finger on a bunt attempt during a game Tuesday, but the issue hasn't caused him to miss any time and certainly didn't seem to impact his swing Thursday. The shortstop collected his second four-hit game of the season, which was highlighted by a 431-foot solo homer in the third inning. Lindor is still batting just .225 on the campaign, but he's hit safely in nine straight contests and has posted a .375 batting average, two homers, four doubles and six RBI over that span.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Primed for big finish?
Lindor hit three home runs in Sunday's win over the Yankees and may be primed for a big finish after a mostly disappointing season.
ANALYSIS
Lindor also provided some energy coming around the bases, as his jawing at several Yankees led to the benches clearing. It might be just the spark the dynamic shortstop needed. He's slashing just .227/.322/.407 this year but has looked better in September, registering a .273/.377/.727 line to date this month. Patient fantasy managers may finally benefit from their investment in Lindor with a hot streak down the stretch.

Lindor's first year with the Mets in 2021 was the worst of his career, but he rebounded last season with a 127 wRC+ in 161 games. The 29-year-old totaled 26 home runs, 107 RBI, 98 runs and 16 stolen bases, and it's the first time in his career he's driven in more than 100 runs. The shortstop's resurgence played a major role in pushing New York to 101 wins and back to the playoffs, as he looked more like the player he was for Cleveland from 2017-19 than the player the Mets got in Year 1. However, Lindor also had a career-worst 18.8 percent strikeout rate and career-high .301 BABIP, which could temper expectations on him building on the 2022 production.
