PITCHER
Aaron Nola, PHI vs. SD ($47): Nola has been one of the bright spots in the Phillies' rotation this season, and he's pitched extremely well over his past three starts, striking out 25 while allowing just three runs. The matchup against the Padres is about as good as it gets, as they enter with the second-lowest wOBA and highest K% against righties this season.
Stephen Strasburg, WAS vs. ATL ($53): Nola is the top pick on this slate, but the second option is not as clear. It came down to Strasburg or Jeff Samardzija, but with similar matchups, I trust Strasburg more. The Nationals' righty has pitched well in his past two starts, with 19 strikeouts in 15 innings and only two runs allowed. The matchup against the Braves is a little tougher with Freddie Freeman back in the lineup, but even with Freeman, the Braves are just a middle-of-the-pack team against righties in most statistical categories.
CATCHER
Andrew Knapp, PHI vs. SD ($9): There are a lot of high-priced options on this slate, so in order to find some value at a low price, I'm targeting Knapp against Jhoulys Chacin, who has pitched well at home this season, but he's been pretty bad on the road. Knapp enters with a .353 wOBA against righties this year, and he should be one of several Phillies to get to Chacin.
FIRST BASE
Logan Morrison, TB vs. BOS ($23): Morrison is in the midst of his best season as a professional, and with another righty on deck, he should go into the All-Star break on a roll. Rick Porcello gets the start for the Red Sox, and he enters with a 5.01 ERA. It's certainly not how he had hoped to backup his Cy Young season, but with a solid Rays lineup up next, he might need to wait until after the break to right the ship. Meanwhile, Morrison leads the Rays with a .404 wOBA against righties this season.
SECOND BASE
Brian Dozier, MIN vs. BAL ($18):Wade Miley has pitched so poorly over his past six starts that I would say he's pitching for his life here, but the Orioles have been extremely patient with all of their starters this season, so Miley is probably safe either way and that's good news for us as we get another chance to stack against him. The Twins have plenty of bats who can get to Miley and Dozier is one of them. He has been off lately, but he comes in with a .400 wOBA against lefties this season.
THIRD BASE
Miguel Sano, MIN vs. BAL ($16): Sano, like Dozier, has also cooled a bit lately, but Sano will also be licking his chops at the prospect of facing a lefty who's been terrible lately. Sano enters with a .392 wOBA against lefties this season, while Miley has allowed at least four runs in five of his past six starts.
SHORTSTOP
Trevor Story, COL vs. CHW ($13): Story is struggling a bit this season, but he's hit lefties pretty well, posting a .392 wOBA against them. Meanwhile, opposing starter Jose Quintana enters with a 4.45 ERA, and that figures to go up after a visit to Coors Field.
OUTFIELD
Carlos Gomez, TEX vs. LAA ($20):Jesse Chavez takes the mound for the Angels, and while he's been serviceable over his past handful of starts, he's in a tough spot against a hot lineup. The Rangers are better against lefties than righties, but one guy who has hit righties well this season is Gomez, who has a team-leading .378 wOBA against them.
Bryce Harper, WAS vs. ATL ($23):Julio Teheran takes the hill for the Braves, and you never know quite what to expect from him, but he's usually good for a few runs, if not more. Harper leads the team with a .446 wOBA against righties this season, which is good for fifth-best in the majors, and he has seven home runs off Teheran in his career.
Lonnie Chisenhall, CLE vs. DET ($19): Last year's runner-up to Rick Porcello for the Cy Young, Justin Verlander is also struggling this season, entering with a 4.96 ERA after allowing seven runs in just over three innings in his last start. There are many players who look appealing in the Indians' lineup, but Chisenhall has a .375 wOBA against righties this season, training only Jose Ramirez on the team.
