Gray has been scratched from Tuesday's scheduled start against the Rockies due to an illness, reports Jane Lee of MLB.com.
Manager Bob Melvin is unsure of when Gray (illness) will return to the rotation to make his next start. Gray spent Monday night in the hospital due to flu-like symptoms and is still there as of Tuesday evening, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Hart (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Indianapolis on Tuesday, Stephen J. Nesbitt of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Flande has joined the Rockies in Oakland, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
Amarista is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mariners.
