FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Tuesday's six-game slate in the NBA might lead to some interesting FanDuel opportunities as key players seem to be getting injured on a daily basis, leaving some good bargains out there for players who will step in to fill those voids. Let's take a look at some of the better opportunities to get the best bang for your buck.

Tuesday's Value Plays

Point Guard

Ish Smith, $5,600, PHI: Smith has been an excellent facilitator for the Sixers of late as he has dished out at least eight assists in each of his last three games. Although he has not played more than 30 minutes in any of his last six games, he has produced at least 20.9 FanDuel points in each of those games. The Sixers have a favorable matchup against a poor Kings defense Tuesday, making him a solid play based on his price.

Jeremy Lin, $5,500, LAL: Lin had a monster game Sunday against the Sixers as he scored 29 points to go along with five rebounds and five assists in only 29 minutes. He has now been named a starter for Tuesday's contest against the Thunder. Like the Sixers, the Thunder are not a defensive force either. Lin has a nice sticker price Tuesday and could put up big numbers with his increased opportunity.

Shooting Guard

Anthony Morrow, $4,400, OKC: The Thunder continue to lose player after player due to injury, the most recent of which is Andre Roberson (ankle). Morrow was seeing increased minutes anyway, and he should continue to see even more playing time now. He is lethal from behind the arc but has some value on the defensive side as well as he has recorded at least one steal in each of his last four games. This is a great price tag considering the opportunity Morrow will be presented with Tuesday.

Small Forward

Dorell Wright, $3,500, POR: Portland is decimated by injuries as Nicolas Batum (back) and LaMarcus Aldridge (finger) are not expected to play Tuesday. Both players left early in the team's last game Saturday against Memphis, leaving Wright with 25 minutes on the floor and 24.2 FanDuel points. The Trail Blazers are likely going to lean on Wright for extended playing time again in this game, so he's at least worth the risk considering how little he will cost you.

Power Forward

Ed Davis, $6,000, LAL: Power forward is a little thin with regard to elite options Tuesday, so Davis has an opportunity to provide solid value. He hasn't played more than 24 minutes in any of his last four games but was still able to produce at least 30.7 FanDuel points in two of those games. While he didn't score more than eight points in any of those four games, he did block 10 shots over that span. The Thunder are thin up front, so Davis could have a big night even if he plays limited minutes again.

Ersan Ilyasova, $5,600, MIL: Ilyasova is quietly playing big minutes for the Bucks as he has played at least 33 minutes in each of his last four games. The end result has been at least 29.2 FanDuel points in three of those four contests. His rebounding has been excellent of late as he is averaging 8.0 rebounds over his last six games. The Heat don't have the biggest frontcourt, meaning Ilyasova could put up another strong performance Tuesday.

Center

Enes Kanter, $6,900, OKC: Kanter isn't the cheapest option Tuesday, but he might be one of the safest plays based on his recent production. He has taken on a major offensive role with both Kevin Durant (foot) and Serge Ibaka (knee) out, averaging 21.1 points over his last seven games. While defense is certainly not his strong suit, he has been a terror on the glass, averaging 13.6 boards over his last five games. Expect him to have a significant impact again Tuesday.

Steven Adams, $5,500, OKC: Adams has really stepped up for the Thunder as he has posted a double-double in four of his last five games, resulting in three games with at least 33.1 FanDuel points. With all of the Thunder's injuries, Adams has played at least 30 minutes in each contest over that five game stretch. The Lakers frontcourt doesn't provide much resistance defensively, so look for Adams to out produce his price point Tuesday.
