FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

The first full week of the season is in the books, which can often be one of the most difficult times of the year when it comes to daily fantasy sports. Some star players might still be shaking off the summer rust and some teams broke camp without clear rotations. As things start to come more into focus, Tuesday presents seven games to choose from when selecting your FanDuel lineup. Here are some of the better value plays available to hopefully make you a winner.

Point Guard
Dennis Schroder, $4,500, ATL:
Schroder had a poor outing Sunday against the Hornets as he only produce 15.1 FanDuel points, but he had posted at least 25.0 FanDuel points in two of three games before then. Starting point guard Jeff Teague is dealing with a minor finger injury, but Schroder should still see plenty of minutes even if Teague has no limitations and the two could even be on the floor at the same time. Considering his cheap price, Schroder is worth a look Tuesday.

Shooting Guard
Kent Bazemore, $4,700, ATL:
Bazemore really struggled his first two games of the season as he combined to score five points and grab eight rebounds. He has been on fire since, posting at least 30.3 FanDuel points in both of his last two games. Thabo Sefolosha (rehab) is going to sit Tuesday, leaving one less player to take up minutes in the Hawks' backcourt. Bazemore has a chance to be one of the better value plays of the evening.

Small Forward
Marcus Morris, $5,800, DET:
Morris has been a rock for the Pistons so far this season, playing at least 35 minutes in each of their three games. Not only is he playing big minutes, but he is playing well as he has recorded at least 35.4 FanDuel points twice. Although he has yet to record a steal or a block, he is doing enough offensively and on the glass to be a solid option Tuesday.

Power Forward
Julius Randle, $5,100, LAL:
Randle is still priced very well due to a terrible performance in the second game of the season against the Kings where he only scored three points to go along with two rebounds. He has been excellent in his other two games as he scored 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the first game of the season and then scored 22 points to go along with 15 rebounds, four assists and four steals Sunday against the Mavericks. This is a juicy matchup against the Nuggets which could result in his price tag going up from here on out.

Marvin Williams, $4,800, CHA: Williams is not a flashy name by any means, but flashy is not what wins you money, production does. Williams has been no slouch in that department as he has posted at least 25.5 FanDuel points in each of his three games this season. Williams and the Hornets face the Bulls Tuesday, leaving him with a nice matchup against the defensively challenged Nikola Mirotic. If you want to go cheap at power forward, Williams is a strong option.

Center:
Willie Cauley-Stein, $5,200, SAC:
It's a shame that DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles) is hurt already, but his injury leaves Cauley-Stein with an opportunity for increased minutes Tuesday against the Grizzlies. It's not an ideal matchup against Marc Gasol, but the Kings are going to need extended minutes from Cauley-Stein. There is no reason to think that his rebounding and defensive numbers alone can't make him a solid play at this price.

Kosta Koufos, $3,800, SAC: Koufos will be the other beneficiary to open minutes with Cousins being out. Koufos has already been solid in limited minutes as he is averaging 6.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.3 blocks a game this season. There might also be some extra motivation at play Tuesday against his former team, so don't be surprised if Koufos actually produces more FanDuel points than Cauley-Stein.
