FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Wednesday night is packed with NBA fun as there are 11 games on the schedule, including a big game between the Warriors and the Bulls. A busy schedule can lead to tough choices when crafting your FanDuel lineup, so here are some of the better value plays that will hopefully pay off for you.

Point Guard
Trey Burke, UTA at NY ($4,900):
Burke has continued to see increased playing time as he has now played at least 29 minutes in three of his last four games. While he doesn't provide many rebounds or assists, he has scored at least 15 points and recorded one steal in each of those four games. He has posted at least 21.6 FanDuel points in three of his last four games and I think he could provide similar production Wednesday against the Knicks.

Donald Sloan, BKN vs. CLE ($4,400): Sloan has seemingly secured his place as the Nets' starting point guard and has played at least 25 minutes in each of the last three games. Although he is not an elite offensive talent, he has still managed to provide at least 23.8 FanDuel points in each of those three games because of his abilities to rebound and distribute the ball. Look for him to provide value at this price again Wednesday.

Shooting Guard
Evan Fournier, ORL vs. PHI ($4,800):
Fournier has really cooled down since starting off the season strong, but he has rebounded a bit of late by recording at least 20.7 FanDuel points in three of his last five games. Playing time has not been a problem for Fournier as he has logged at least 33 minutes in four of his last five games. I think this is a nice matchup for him Wednesday at home against the Sixers.

Small Forward
Omri Casspi, SAC at LAL ($5,500):
Casspi has been coming off of the bench since his return from injury, but has still managed to provide at least 22.7 FanDuel points in two of his last three games. While he may continue to be a part of the second unit, Casspi will still be counted on to provide offense and three-point shooting. Don't be surprised if he puts up big numbers Wednesday against the lowly Lakers.

Nikola Mirotic, CHI vs. GS ($4,800): Mirotic has struggled of late by posting 13.1 FanDuel points or less in each of his last three games. Even taking that into consideration, I like Mirotic Wednesday against the Warriors as he might be able to help combat the Warriors' small and athletic lineup better than Pau Gasol or Taj Gibson can. I wouldn't be shocked if he breaks out of his slump in a big way during this game.

Power Forward
Trey Lyles, UTA at NY ($4,300):
Lyles continues to get increased playing time with Derrick Favors (back) out of action, which is a trend that might continue Wednesday against the Knicks with Favors being listed as doubtful to play. Lyles has recorded at least 23.6 FanDuel points in each of his last three games, which would be good value at this price if he can replicate that against the Knicks.

Center
Robin Lopez, NY vs. UTA ($4,700):
Lopez has become a steady contributor of late as he has produced at least 20.1 FanDuel points in eight of his last nine games. Mostly known for his defense and rebounding, Lopez has been no slouch offensively as he has scored at least 12 points in five of his last seven games. Don't expect flashy numbers, but Lopez can still be serviceable at this price Wednesday against the Jazz.
