FanDuel NBA: Sunday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Sunday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

The NBA has five games on tap Sunday, with one starting at 3:30 p.m. EDT, two at 6:00 p.m. and two later. Thus, FanDuel is offering two main contest times: early (3:30 to 6:00) and main (6:00 and after). The most intriguing matchup might be the Jazz against the Kings, as one of the best defenses faces one of the worst, which could produce good numbers or terrible ones. The Bucks against the Nets and the Lakers against the Knicks both seem like good bets to produce big numbers.

Point Guard
Marcelo Huertas, LAL vs. NYK ($3,900):
Huertas is a near-minimum priced player who is averaging 9.4 points, 6.0 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.4 combined steals and blocks in 28.2 minutes per game per game over his last five.

Shelvin Mack, UTA at SAC ($4,300): Mack is consistently and quietly productive, averaging 10.7 points, 5.3 assists and 4.0 boards per game over his last six games, and he now faces a Kings defense that is allowing the second-most fantasy points per game to point guards this season.

Shooting Guard
Rodney Hood, UTA at SAC ($5,100):
Hood is averaging 15.0 points, 3.5 boards, 2.5 steals and 2.0 assists per game over his last two, and he has a great matchup against a Kings defense that is allowing the most fantasy points per game to shooting guards this season.

Jordan Clarkson, LAL vs. NYK ($5,800): Clarkson is a bit of a risk, as he mixes in a clunker every few games. However, in his non-clunkers he is pretty consistently in the low-mid 30s in terms of fantasy points, which would be good value at his price.

Small Forward
Jeff Green, LAC vs. CLE ($5,200):
Green has scored at least 29 fantasy points in three of his last four games. Both Paul Pierce (toe) and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (eye) are game-time decisions, and if they sit, Green should have the opportunity to produce again.

Power Forward
Jabari Parker, MIL at BKN ($6,800):
Over his last seven games, Parker is averaging 21.7 points, 5.4 boards, 2.3 assists, 2.0 steals and 0.4 blocks per outing, and he now faces a Nets defense that is 27th in the NBA against power forwards.

Center
Robin Lopez, NYK at LAL ($5,900):
Lopez had 20 points and 19 rebounds against the Clippers on Friday night and has at least 32 fantasy points in three of his last four games. On Sunday, he faces a Lakers defense that has been among the worst against centers all season.
