The NBA has six games on tap Sunday, including an early game for the first time in three weeks. Their main schedule consists of the five games starting at 6:00 p.m. EST or after, but there are also early/all-day options featuring the 3:30 p.m. game as well. The Nets at the 76ers is one of the most interesting games of the day, pitting two teams with poor defenses that could produce nice fantasy numbers. But all eyes will be on whether Anthony Davis is healthy enough to return from the injury that forced him out of Friday's game.
DeMar DeRozan, TOR at ORL ($8,600): DeRozan has been strong all season and has started another 30-plus points scoring streak that now stands at three. The Magic have had difficulty defending wings this season, making DeRozan a strong play.
Goran Dragic, MIA vs. BOS ($7,400): Dragic has scored at least 38.5 fantasy points in three of his last four games, including 47.7 fantasy points in his last outing against the Clippers when he had 21 points, 11 assists, six boards and two steals.
Sergio Rodriguez ($4,800) or T.J. McConnell ($4,000), PHI vs. BKN: The 76ers have been giving both Rodriguez and McConnell playing time of late, and both have responded with solid enough games to be worth considering even in split duty. If one of them steps up and grabs the majority of the minutes Sunday, they could be worth starters production at a very low price against a very poor defense.
Kawhi Leonard, SA vs. NO ($8,300): Leonard has averaged 24.5 points, 7.0 boards, 4.5 assists, 1.8 treys and 1.5 steals per game over his last four, and he has a great matchup against a New Orleans defense that is weak defending small forwards.
Serge Ibaka, ORL vs. TOR ($6,400): Ibaka has averaged 19.3 points, 6.3 boards, 2.3 blocks, 2.0 treys, 1.3 assists and 0.5 steals per game over his last four, and when his jumper is working, he gives the Magic a dimension that the other bigs on their roster can't replicate.
Robert Covington, PHI vs. BKN ($5,000): Covington is on one of his best stretches of the season, averaging 18.7 points, 8.3 boards, 2.0 assists and 1.4 combined steals and blocks per game over his last three heading into a wonderful matchup against a Nets defense that struggles against every position.
Hassan Whiteside, MIA vs. BOS ($8,900): Whiteside is on yet another strong run in a season full of them. He has at least 16 rebounds in three straight games, a stretch in which he's also averaging 18.0 points and 2.7 combined blocks and steals per game.
Joel Embiid, PHI vs. BKN ($6,800): Embiid has been trying to fit into the starting lineup next to Jahlil Okafor, which has been a bit of an awkward fit, but he's still strong value against a Nets defense that has neither the size nor athletic ability to defend a player like him.
Jahlil Okafor, PHI vs. BKN ($5,100): Continuing the 76ers theme, Okafor has been playing more lately and producing solidly even next to Embiid. Over his last three games he is averaging 15.0 points, 7.0 boards and 2.0 combined steals and blocks per game over his last three. He will be facing Brook Lopez in a battle of strong low-post scorers that don't bother to defend all that much.
