FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Wednesday marks a busy night in the NBA with 10 games on the schedule. The marquee matchup of the evening is the Raptors taking on the Warriors, which should be a fun shootout to watch. What better way to make the night even more exciting than brinGing home some cash on FanDuel? Let's take a look at some of the better options that will hopefully make that happen.

DeMar DeRozan, TOR at GS ($8,600): DeRozan has posted at least 42 FanDuel points in three of his last five games and is averaging 40.2 FanDuel points per game this season. It's going to be an exciting backcourt matchup between these two teams and I think DeRozan could really have a big night. Don't be surprised if he surpasses his season average in terms of FanDuel production.

Zach LaVine, MIN at DEN ($6,500): I tend to use LaVine most nights when he plays and he comes through more often than not considering his price. This is a great matchup for him Wednesday against the Nuggets in what shapes up to be a battle of two teams who struggle on defense. Although LaVine has posted 24.7 or less FanDuel points in both of his last two games, I'm expecting a big game for him in this contest.

Ty Lawson, SAC at POR ($4,800): Lawson continues to earn playing time as he has scored at least 12 points in each of his last four games and has dished out at least 4 assists in three of his last four games. Combine that with his steal numbers and he has provided at least 23.8 FanDuel points in each of those four games. Portland struggles defensively, so I think Lawson could have a valuable stat line at this cheap price Wednesday.

Kevin Durant, GS vs TOR ($10,000): Durant has played very well of late as he has posted at least 54.2 FanDuel points in three of his last five games. He is coming off of a monster 62.5 FanDuel point performance on Christmas against the Cavaliers, when he scored 36 points to go along with 15 rebounds. He's not cheap by any means, but I think he'll be worth this price Wednesday.

Serge Ibaka, ORL vs CHA ($6,300): Ibaka had a quiet performance in a blowout against the Grizzlies on Monday, but had recorded at least 35.5 FanDuel points in three straight games entering that contest. He continues to see significant playing time in a crowded Magic frontcourt as he provides steady production on both ends of the floor. I like him as a mid-tier power forward option Tuesday.

Jon Leuer, DET vs MIL ($4,900): It's hard to resist playing Leuer on a nightly basis when he is this cheap. He's starting now for the Pistons and has played at last 28 minutes and posted at least 21.4 FanDuel points in each of his last three games. I feel like he has the potential to approach 30 FanDuel points Wednesday and will have him in my lineup.

DeMarcus Cousins, SAC at POR ($11,000): To say Cousins had success against Portland earlier this season is an understatement as he came away with an incredible 76.3 FanDuel points. That's right, you read that number correctly. He followed up that monster outing with at least 50.9 FanDuel points in two of his next three games. He's averaging 29.1 points, 10.4 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.5 blocks per game this season. If you can find a way to squeeze him in your lineup Wednesday, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Myles Turner, IND at WAS ($6,300): The Pacers are going to need plenty of minutes from Turner on Wednesday against Marcin Gortat and the Wizards. Turner played well in their previous matchup this season as he came away with 38.3 FanDuel points. Not only is Turner providing a steady 15.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game this season, but he is also a defensive stopper as he is averaging 2.4 blocks per game. Don't be surprised if he has a big game considering his price.

Greg Monroe, MIL at DET ($4,800): If you want to take a chance on a cheap center Wednesday, I think Monroe is your man as he faces his former squad. He has posted at least 23.5 FanDuel points in four of his last six games despite playing no more than 23 minutes in any of those games. There is a chance he gets a little extra run against a big Pistons frontcourt of Leuer and Andre Drummond, so don't be surprised if he puts together a nice outing.
