FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Get ready for a busy night in the NBA as there are 12 games on the schedule Wednesday. That leaves a lot of options to choose from for your FanDuel lineup, so let's get right down to business and examine some of the better plays for the evening.

Isaiah Thomas, BOS vs. TOR ($10,600): Thomas has been exceptional of late, having scored at least 51.6 FanDuel points in three of his last four games. He provides a ton of value on the offensive end and has also dished out at least eight assists in five consecutive games. This has been a career season for Thomas and he is showing no signs of slowing down.

Devin Booker, PHO vs. LAC ($6,900): Booker has been on a scoring binge of late, averaging 26.3 points over his last 13 games. He is averaging 35 minutes per game this season and has become one of the main offensive weapons for the Suns. He has posted at least 30 FanDuel points in each of his last four games and should have another big role in Wednesday's contest against the Clippers.

T.J. McConnell, PHI at DAL ($5,900): McConnell has been excellent running the point for the Sixers as he has dished out at least 10 assists in five of his last six games. He has a firm grip on the starting job and has played at least 30 minutes in five of his last seven games. Throw in the fact that he has recorded at least two steals in three of his last four games and he makes for a viable option at this price Wednesday.

Jimmy Butler, CHI at OKC ($9,500): This is going to be a fun matchup between Butler and Russell Westbrook. Butler has scored at least 53.1 FanDuel points in two of his last three games and the one game where he didn't was the game he came off of the bench due to disciplinary reasons. Butler has been running the offense at times with all of the Bulls' problems at point guard, leading to an average of 4.7 assists per game. His ability to provide production across multiple categories provides him with significant value, even at this steep price.

Robert Covington, PHI at DAL ($6,400): Covington has been excellent lately and has scored at least 44 FanDuel points in both of his last two games. His increased production has coincided with the absence of Joel Embiid (knee), who is not expect to play Wednesday. He can be a bit of a streaky shooter, but his defense really helps his value as he has at least two steals in each of his last five games.

Dirk Nowitzki, PHI at DAL ($5,600): Nowitzki is not playing heavy minutes at this stage in his career as he has failed to top 28 minutes in any of his last eight games. Despite his limited playing time, he has scored at least 27 FanDuel points in seven of his last 10 games. The Mavericks are 7-3 in their last 10 games and will be counting on Nowitzki to provide his usual steady production Wednesday against a Sixers squad that's on a tear of its own of late.

Marc Gasol, MEM at DEN ($8,800): This has the makings of a good matchup for Gasol as the Grizzlies will be facing off against a Nuggets squad that is allowing an average of 111.1 points per game. Known for his all-around abilities, Gasol has become more of a scorer this season as he is averaging 20.7 points per game. He's not a cheap option, but he does have a very high floor.

Nikola Vucevic, ORL vs. IND ($7,000): Vucevic is only averaging 28 minutes per game this season, but has played more of late, logging at least 33 minutes in three of his last four contests. It's no coincidence that his production has increased lately, as he scored at least 33.6 FanDuel points in all three of those games. In a previous matchup against these same Pacers earlier this season, he scored 37.7 FanDuel points.

Tristan Thompson, CLE vs. MIN ($5,100): Thompson draws the daunting task of having to match up against Karl-Anthony Towns Wednesday. However, this could be a good thing for his value as he might see increased playing time. Thompson has also played well at The Q lately, scoring at least 27 FanDuel points in three of his last four home games. He's cheap enough Wednesday to take a chance on if you want to save money at center.
