Wild Should Trade Backstrom

The Wild have two free agents after this season: Marian Gaborik and Niklas Backstrom.
They tried all fall to trade Gaborik after he refused a contract extension. And now he's hurt and untradeable.
Meanwhile, Backstrom is a free agent as well this summer, but the Wild haven't offered him a contract (at least not reported).
In my opinion the Wild should trade Backstrom. Sure, he's a star, but I believe head coach Jacque Lemaire's trap makes goalies and not the other way around. Dwayne Roloson and Manny Fernandez put up huge stats with the Wild. But the Wild found another goalie from Europe who was even better.
Plus, Josh Harding is younger, cheaper and has shown promise.
Trade Backstrom while he's hot. Do a one-year deal with Gaborik (it's in his interest to show he's healthy and get the big bucks and the Wild don't want to get nothing when he departs).
While the Wild sit ninth in the standings, they just don't have the fire power on offense without Gaborik to do much in the playoffs. Plus, they may not see much of a dropoff in goal if Backstrom is traded.

I totally agree.
The question is, who would trade for him?
Perhaps Minnesota would take Michael Nylander from Washington for Backstrom but do they need a pass-first center?

Amen. They need to optimize assets now but the market is tight. I think goalies will be undervalued at the deadline and the return might only be 85 cents on the dollar. Is that worth it? Might Edmonton write Backstrom a two-year deal just-in-case Jeff D-D isn't "the man"?
