This article is part of our DraftKings NHL series.
There are 11 games in the NHL on Tuesday. Here is a look at a number of options across multiple price points consider while assembling your DraftKings lineups.
GOALIE
Peter Budaj, LOS at TAM ($7,000): Before being excusably shelled by the Capitals on Sunday, Budaj was riding a five-game winning streak with just three goals allowed and a .975 save percentage. Tampa Bay owns a fourth lowest 2.18 goals per 60 minutes through its past 15 games with just four wins. This is a nice bounce-back spot for Budaj, and he's underpriced.
CENTER
Mikko Koivu, MIN at WPG ($5,800): This salary doesn't match Koivu's recent form. The pivot has eight goals and 20 points through his past 18 games, and he's centering a scorching hot line. Winnipeg allows the fourth most goals per game (3.11), and projected starter Ondrej Pavelec sports a 3.34 GAA through seven outings since being called back up from the AHL.
Paul Stastny, STL at OTT ($4,900): Centering Alexander Steen and Vladimir Tarasenko is a cushy gig, and Stastny is up to eight goals and 15 points through his past 15 games. He's also shooting the puck more, with an average of 1.93 shots per game during that stretch. Mike Condon, Ottawa's probable starting goalie, owns an underwhelming 3.56 GAA and .873 save percentage through his past six starts, too.
WING
Jamie Benn, DAL at TOR ($7,200): Toronto has allowed 22 goals through four games since the All-Star break, and enters Tuesday's contest on the wrong end of a back-to-back set. Not only does Benn have a six-game point streak (five goals and three assists), he's posted a fourth-ranked 3.11 points per 60 minutes among all skaters with at least 5,000 minutes played over the past four years.
Jason Zucker, MIN at WPG ($5,100): As noted, this is a solid matchup for Minnesota, and Zucker provides excellent value stacked alongside Koivu. The 25-year-old winger leads the entire league in points per 60 minutes at five-on-five with a 3.28 mark, and has 10 goals, 21 points and 54 shots through his past 20 games.
Bobby Ryan, OTT vs. STL ($3,900): While four goals, seven points and 19 shots through 11 games aren't high-end numbers, Ryan is clearly underpriced at this salary. He's dropped $500 over his past 10 games, but is still receiving top offensive minutes and grabs St. Louis on the second leg of back-to-back road games. Ryan is no longer a star player, but he's a solid value option Tuesday.
DEFENSE
Kevin Shattenkirk, STL at OTT ($5,100): With three goals, 10 points and 24 shots through his past 11 games, Shattenkirk is clicking of late. His price doesn't match his current form or high-end production over the past four seasons, as the 28-year-old defenseman has posted a fourth-ranked 1.8 points per 60 minutes among all defenseman with at least 3,000 minutes over the past four years.
John Klingberg, DAL at TOR ($5,000): The third-year defenseman has found his offensive game again and has a goal, five points, nine shots and seven blocked shots through the past four games. As highlighted, this is a cushy matchup for Dallas, and Klingberg's salary is a little low. His 1.77 points per 60 minutes since entering the league ranks fourth among all defenseman with at least 4,000 minutes.
