FanDuel NHL: Thursday-Friday Playoff Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NHL series.

There's just one game in the NHL on Thursday, but FanDuel's contests also include Friday's two Western Conference games for a two-day slate. Here are a handful of players to consider while assembling your lineups.

GOALIE

Pekka Rinne, NAS at STL ($9,000): The Blues have shown next to no offensive spark during the postseason, generating just 6.35 high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes. Rinne's sparkled throughout the playoffs, going 7-1 with a .953 save percentage and 1.33 GAA, and the Predators can advance to the Western Conference Finals with a win.

CENTER

Ryan Getzlaf, ANA vs. EDM ($8,300): After dominating Game 4, Getzlaf is up to 11 goals and 40 points through 26 games dating back to March 1, and he has 13 points through eight playoff games. Edmonton hasn't had an answer for the veteran pivot, and his five-multi point outings during the postseason highlight his high fantasy ceiling.

Mika Zibanejad, NYR vs. OTT ($6,000): The Swede has found the scoresheet in four of the past five games for a goal, six points and 15 shots on net. He's also averaging 18:37 of ice time per outing (with 2:23 on the man advantage) during that stretch. Zibanejad has been on the ice for the most high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes (11.94) of any Rangers forward, too.

WING

Mats Zuccarello, NYR vs. OTT ($6,200): After a quiet start to the postseason, Zuccarello has scored three goals and added two assists through his past four games while averaging 20:28 of ice time (2:32 on the power play). He also pairs nicely with his center, Zibanejad, for a cost-effective stack.

Corey Perry, ANA vs. EDM ($4,800): It was a disastrous regular season for Perry, and he has just one goal through eight playoff games. However, he skated with Ryan Getzlaf in Game 4, and the veteran winger is still a staple on the No. 1 power-play unit. Additionally, considering Perry's willingness to go to the difficult areas and thrive, his 8.5 shooting percentage dating back to the regular season is unsustainably low.

Colin Wilson, NAS at STL ($3,900): Currently in a top-six gig and averaging 2:42 of power-play time over the past two games, Wilson's salary doesn't match his role. It may surprise you to learn that he has 11 goals and 20 points through his past 24 playoff games, so there's a nice postseason track record to accompany the cap relief Wilson provides.

DEFENSE

Erik Karlsson, OTT at NYR ($6,800): With a scoresheet appearance in seven of nine playoff games, resulting in a goal, eight points, 25 shots and 18 blocked shots, it's difficult to avoid Karlsson's fantasy floor at this price. He consistently plays nearly half of every game and is the go-to offensive weapon for Ottawa. Karlsson's also averaging a hefty 4:28 of power-play time during the postseason.

P.K. Subban, NAS at STL ($5,300): After a monster Game 1 showing, Subban has just a single assist, two shots and three blocked shots through the past three games. He's averaged 25:05 of ice time with 2:08 on the power play during the playoffs, and the blueliner has posted a goal and five helpers through eight games, so a bounce-back showing is in play Friday. It's also worth highlighting that Subban's salary isn't prohibitive.
