Soto, who has been resting his sore left hand, will likely be out again Thursday night, according to the Daily Herald.

Recommendation:
Soto's hand is probably already healed, but with the NL Central in the bag, Cubs manager Lou Piniella is taking no chances. "We've given him a little breather," said Piniella. "If he had to play tonight, it wouldn't be any problem."
