Rest-of-Season Projections
2024 Fantasy Outlook
The Incredible Julks started hot with Houston with 11 runs, 8 RBIs, and a .297 average the first month of the season and again with a solid June, but struggled overall and was a non-factor after the break. His fantasy value was mostly limited to his 15 stolen bases as the rest of his production was below average and barely rosterable in AL-Only formats. Julks, even at age 28, still has minor league options and is very likely to end up back in Triple-A since Kyle Tucker, Chas McCormick, and Jake Meyers/Mauricio Dubon are clogging up the first four spots in the outfield depth chart. Julks's speed is a tool, but he has limitations at the plate that are not likely to be given increased exposure on a team that is a strong favorite to once again play baseball in October. Capturing steady playing time
Julks will start in left field and bat cleanup in Sunday's game against the Orioles.
ANALYSIS
Julks will pick up his third consecutive start and looks like he'll have a path to a regular spot in the lineup while Eloy Jimenez (hamstring) is on the injured list. Since being acquired from the Astros on May 15 and getting recalled from Triple-A two days later, Julks has gone 6-for-18 with a home run, two doubles, five walks, five RBI and two runs in seven games with Chicago.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could join big club soon
White Sox manager Pedro Grifol indicated Wednesday that Julks could be called up in the near future, per Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com.
ANALYSIS
The 28-year-old was acquired from Houston on Wednesday and was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte, but he could join the MLB club soon. Julks would likely see most of his playing time against left-handed pitching early on.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Julks showed hints of a power breakout in half a season at Double-A in 2021 and then full-on broke out in 2022 at Triple-A Sugar Land, slugging 31 home runs and stealing 22 bases to go along with an .854 OPS. However, it wasn't enough to get him added to the 40-man roster over the offseason and Julks went unselected in the Rule 5 Draft. He's 27 and doesn't really have a defensive home, so you can understand why. Still, Julks has displayed a fantasy-friendly skill set in the minors, so he'd be worth keeping and eye on if the Astros give him a shot.
