Mavs Defeat Thunder, 117-116, Advance to WCF
The Dallas Mavericks defeated the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder, 117-116, in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semi-Finals at American Airlines Center on Saturday.

Dallas wins this series, 4-2.

Oklahoma City held the lead for all but a few minutes in this game, leading by 17 points shortly after the half. Dallas outscored Oklahoma City, 69-52, in the second half, getting two game-winning free throws from PJ Washington with 2.5 seconds remaining. The Mavericks shot 51 percent from the field and 47 percent from three-point range, while the Thunder shot 48 percent from the field and 37 percent from long range. They also out-rebounded OKC, 47-31, while outscoring them in second-chance points, 27-8.

The Thunder (2-4) were led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, accruing 36 points, three rebounds, eight assists and two blocks. Jalen Williams amassed 22 points, nine rebounds, eight assists and two steals. Chet Holmgren collected 21 points, three rebounds and two steals, while Luguentz Dort and Isaiah Joe had 11 points and three rebounds apiece.

The Mavericks (4-2) were led by Luka Doncic, collecting 29 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and two steals. Kyrie Irving compiled 22 points, two rebounds and three assists. Derrick Jones totaled 22 points, four rebounds and two assists. Dereck Lively Jr led the bench with 12 points, 15 rebounds and three assists. PJ Washington has nine points, five rebounds and two assists.

Dallas will face the winner of the Minnesota-Denver series.
