Season hindered with injuries
M/DManchester City
May 30, 2024
Stones appeared in 16 matches (12 starts), registering one goal on four shots to go along with two tackles, 10 interceptions and 20 clearances.
ANALYSIS
Stones had a huge dip in performance following a breakout season that saw Pep Guardiola move the typical defender to a holding midfielder role. However, much of this can be blamed on his injury woes, as he missed 11 matches due to injury while going unused multiple times on the bench trying to recover from his issues, forcing him out of the starting spot in favor of Manuel Akanji and Nathan Ake. He will hope to earn back the starting role next season, although it appears he may be on his way out this off-season, as clubs around Europe are bidding for his services, with Bayern Munich looking to be the leading candidate at the moment.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Bayern Munich showing interest
M/DManchester City
May 25, 2024
Bayern Munich are interested in signing Stones in the summer, according to Football Insider.
ANALYSIS
Stones seems to have lost a bit of ground on the starting role he's had in previous seasons, and the defender could be interested in moving elsewhere if Manchester City attempt to sign another defender in the summer transfer window. If that's the case, then expect Bayern Munich to move for the England international, as they feel they could use a technical upgrade in their back line.
