DraftKings NBA: Sunday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Sunday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

There are six games on the schedule in the NBA Sunday, but the DraftKings main contest will only include four of those contests. Let's take a look at the options across the price scale for those four games to hopefully help you bring home some cash.

Guards

Devin Booker, PHO vs. CHI ($8,100): While there is not a lot of appeal to this game where two bad teams are facing each other, there is a lot of intrigue from a DFS perspective. Booker may be the best option of anyone in this game as he enters having scored at least 33 points in three of his last four games. Booker is in the top-20 in the league in usage rate (28.7%), so get him in your lineup.

Spencer Dinwiddie, BKN vs. GS ($6,000): Dinwiddie is the starting point guard for the foreseeable future with D'Angelo Russell (knee) out of action. He scored 50.3 DraftKings points in his last game Friday against the Utah Jazz and has scored at least 35.8 DraftKings points in all four games where he has played at least 30 minutes this season. His price is still reasonable, so take advantage while you can.

Tyler Ulis, PHO vs. CHI ($4,200): Ulis has started each of the last four games, taking the point guard job from Mike James. He is coming off his best performance since assuming the role as he scored 30.8 DraftKings points Friday against the Lakers. If you need to save money at guard, Ulis has the potential to out produce his price point.

Forwards

Paul Millsap, DEN at LAL ($7,200): Millsap is on a hot streak as he has scored at least 43.5 DraftKings points in three of his last four games. He struggled to provide value at the start of the season, mainly because he only had six assists over his first five games combined. Clearly more comfortable with his new squad now, he has dished out at least five assists in three of the last four games. Look for that trend to continue against the Lakers.

Lauri Markkanen, CHI at PHO ($6,400): Markkanen has had a couple of poor performances since Bobby Portis returned from suspension, but continues to start at power forward and likely will for the rest of the season. This is a fantastic matchup against the Suns as they allow the second most DraftKings points per game (53.3) to opposing power forwards. Expect him to score in bunches in this game.

Denzel Valentine, CHI at PHO ($4,700): The Bulls finally moved Valentine into the starting lineup Friday against the Charlotte Hornets and he came through with 36.3 DraftKings points. The Bulls won the game, so it would be a surprise if he wasn't starting again Sunday. At this price, he could be one of the best value plays of the evening.

Centers

Nikola Jokic, DEN at LAL ($9,200): Jokic has not lived up to his lofty price tag lately, scoring 38.8 DraftKings points or less in four of his last six games. His ceiling is very high though as he has scored at least 50 DraftKings points five times this season. The Lakers are allowing the ninth-most DraftKings points per game (54.4) to opposing centers, so this could be one of those monster nights for Jokic.

Julius Randle, DEN at LAL ($5,100): Randle continues to struggle to get playing time, averaging only 20 minutes per game. Despite that, he has still managed to score at least 20 DraftKings points in eight straight games. On a night with limited options, he can provide value at this price.

Trevor Booker, BKN vs. GS ($4,800): Booker started his first game of the season Friday against the Jazz and came through with 14 points, five rebounds and three assists in 27 minutes. Timofey Mozgov has really struggled this season, so don't be surprised if Booker starts again. With the small lineups the Warriors like to deploy, Booker presents an excellent value play.
