FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Tuesday night carries a light schedule in the NBA as there are only eight teams in action. Although there aren't a ton of choices, there are still plenty of value plays available when selecting your FanDuel lineup.

Point Guard
Jameer Nelson, $4,600, DEN:
Nelson will start Tuesday against the Lakers as Emmanuel Mudiay (ankle) is out of action again. Nelson has started the last four games with Mudiay out and has produced no fewer than 21.6 FanDuel points in any of those games. The Lakers are a bad defensive squad, making this a juicy opportunity to play Nelson at this price.

Mario Chalmers, $4,200, MEM: The Grizzlies play the Sixers Tuesday, so there could be plenty of minutes available for Chalmers if the game gets out of hand early. Although he has produced 18.1 FanDuel points or less in each of his last seven games, he did not play more than 27 minutes in any of those contests. It's hard to plan for a blowout, but I'd take a chance on Chalmers Tuesday.

Shooting Guard
Terrence Ross, $3,900, TOR:
Ross is quietly producing as he has recorded at least 20.3 FanDuel points in three of his last four games. Although he doesn't provide a ton of rebounds or assists, he is a nice offensive option who has also recorded at least one steal in five of his last six games. There aren't a ton of elite options with so few teams in action Tuesday, so it might be worth giving Ross a shot if you want to go cheap at shooting guard.

Small Forward
Jeff Green, $4,400, MEM:
I'm not really excited about anyone at small forward Tuesday regardless of their price, so I'm inclined to give Green a shot against the woeful Sixers. Green has played at least 33 minutes in each of his last five games, posting at least 20.2 FanDuel points in three of those contests. Big minutes against a bad team could mean a successful night for Green.

Power Forward
Kenneth Faried, $6,500, DEN:
Not a steep discount here, but I still think Faried will provide a lot of value even at this price considering his match up against the Lakers. Faried posted 35.6 FanDuel points in only 24 minutes against the Pelicans Sunday, so he can even produce without logging heavy minutes. Expect him to play a lot if he can stay out of foul trouble and have a big night.

Julius Randle, $5,700, LAL: On the flip side, I also think Randle will have a big night against the Nuggets. Although he hasn't been starting, Randle has still managed to grab at least 10 rebounds in three of his last four games. He put up a dud Saturday against the Thunder, but entered that contest with at least 21.0 FanDuel points in three straight games. The Nuggets aren't even close to the same caliber team as the Thunder, so I think Randle will have value at this price.

Center
Bismack Biyombo, $4,600, TOR:
Biyombo is a beast on the glass as he has grabbed at least 13 rebounds in each of his last four games. While he is not much of an offensive force, he is contributing defensively as well with 11 blocks over his last four games. Considering he has posted at least 24.0 FanDuel points in each of this last four games, Biyombo should be your man if you want to go cheap at center when he plays the Mavericks Tuesday.
