FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

The NBA brings eight games to the table Wednesday including intriguing matchups between the Pacers against the Celtics and the Hawks against the Wizards. Let's take a look at some players to consider across the price scale for your FanDuel entry.

Kyrie Irving, CLE at DEN ($9,000): Irving rarely throws up a dud as he has scored at least 30 FanDuel points in every game he's played in the months of February and March. He dominated a poor Lakers squad Sunday when he scored 49.9 FanDuel points. With another easy defensive opponent in the Nuggets on tap for Wednesday, Irving is primed for a big performance.

Victor Oladipo, OKC vs. PHI ($6,100): Oladipo enters play Wednesday having scored at least 30 FanDuel points in five of his last six games. He provides most of his value on the offensive end as he scored at least 20 points in four of those same six contests. With the Thunder lacking a ton of firepower outside of Russell Westbrook, look for them to continue to lean on Oladipo to produce.

Tim Hardaway Jr., ATL at WAS ($5,400): Hardaway has re-entered the starting lineup with Kent Bazemore (knee) out of action. While he only scored 14.7 FanDuel points in a starting role Monday against the Hornets, the key is that he played 33 minutes. He usually produces when given extended playing time as he scored at least 28.3 FanDuel points in each of the last five games where he played at least 30 minutes entering Monday. The price is right to give him a chance to rebound Wednesday.

LeBron James, CLE at DEN ($11,100): James has scored at least 50.7 FanDuel points seven of his last nine games as he continues to fill the stat sheet across the board. The only issue with James is that he is going to rest some down the stretch, but that won't matter Wednesday as the Cavaliers have not played since Sunday. Expect him to put up his usual superb stat line against the porous Nuggets defense.

Richaun Holmes, PHI at OKC ($6,100): Holmes has been excellent of late as he has scored at least 30.4 FanDuel points in each of his last three games. Jahlil Okafor's (knee) status is uncertain Wednesday, but Holmes should still carry significant value even if Okafor does play. While he can approach a double-double, Holmes also provides a lot defensively as he has eight blocks and eight steals over his last five games. He is a strong mid-tier option Wednesday against the Thunder.

Ersan Ilyasova, ATL at WAS ($4,500): Ilyasova is in line to start again Wednesday as Paul Millsap (knee) will be out of action. Ilyasova only scored 19.7 FanDuel points in a start against the Hornets on Monday, but that game wasn't close. He has a favorable matchup against the Wizards as they allow the fifth most FanDuel points to opposing power forwards. It's hard to pass up Ilyasova at this price.

Rudy Gobert, UTA vs. NY ($8,800): Gobert is cranking it up as the Jazz push towards the playoffs as he has scored at least 50.3 FanDuel points in two of his last three games. Not only does he record double-doubles with ease, but he has a whopping 19 blocks over his last four games. The Knicks allow the fourth most FanDuel points to opposing centers, leaving Gobert with the potential for a monster performance.

Andre Drummond, DET at CHI ($7,800): Drummond continues to dominate on the glass as he has grabbed at least 17 rebounds in each of his last three games. Wednesday initially looked like a tough matchup against the Bulls and Robin Lopez, but Lopez is likely facing a suspension as a result of throwing a punch against the Raptors Tuesday. If Lopez is suspended, the Bulls have no match for Drummond.

Steven Adams, OKC vs. PHI ($4,900): Adams is only averaging 25.1 FanDuel points per game this season and has scored at least 30 FanDuel points only once in his last 12 games. However, he presents an interesting opportunity Wednesday as he gets to face a Sixers squad who allows the most FanDuel points to opposing centers. Based on his bargain price, he might be worth the risk based on this matchup.
