Missing Keith Foulke

Foulke had the guts of a burglar, a mediocre fastball and a changeup that made him millions of dollars. I’ll miss Foulke because he was a reliable closer with good peripherals that I always had to have on my team. It actually hurt me when I had to cut him from my roster last spring (I’d still rather win with the sinners than lose with the saints). He was no Mariano Rivera, but one of those players that I trusted. Thanks Mr. Foulke. I’ll miss ya…

Comments....

Don't worry. He'll be back next year. He's only 34.

I wouldn't want him if and when he comes back. He's yours for a buck.

If Jerry Manuel had known how to use a bullpen, he would've had 50 more saves.

BTW, who is going to finish the season with the most saves for the Indians?

Borowski most likely, though I'd be surprised if he kept the job all year. I could see three guys finishing in double-digits there.
