Creek scored 10 points Wednesday against Boston, adding eight rebounds.

Creek continues to score effectively, having at least 10 points in all but one game this contest. The eight rebounds marked a season-high, but he's averaging just 3.5 boards on the year. As of now, Creek is contributing points and 3-pointers, and not much else.

Creek underwent surgery for a torn Achillies' tendon in his left leg, ESPN 1070 am Indianapolis reports.

He hasn't been able to stay healthy as he also had a broken broken left patella in December 2009 and a broken right patella in January 2011. Creek hasn't been ruled out yet for this season, but it seems unlikely he'll play.

Creek is the Hoosiers' leading scorer as a freshman this season, so he will obviously be missed as they begin Big Ten play on Thursday against Michigan

Creek - Indiana's top scorer - left Monday night's game against Bryant on a stretcher after suffering an apparent injury to his left leg, SI.com reports.

Creek was hurt when trying to put in a layup with 15:26 left in the game. He was fouled on the play and landed awkwardly on his leg, then fell to the ground. Expectations are that the freshman, averaging 16.4 points a game, will miss the remainder of the season, this after being scheduled for surgery Tuesday afternoon.
