Moreland will declare for the NBA Draft, Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

He will forgo his senior season at Oregon State, without assurances of being a first round pick. The 6-foot-10, 218-pound forward was a rebounder (10.3 rpg) and a shot blocker (2.0 bpg), and not much else last season with the Beavers, and will look to add frontcourt depth to a team at the next level.

Moreland was suspended for the first 14 games of the season, ESPN.com reports. He had been on indefinite suspension because of an undisclosed violation of team rules.

Moreland will miss nearly half of the season, so his transgressions must have been weighty. Devin Collier, who is also suspended for the opener, will see more rebounding opportunities in the non-conference slate.
