Ejim had 13 points, six rebounds and three assists in Saturday's win over Texas Tech.

Ejim's 48-point outburst last weekend caught the attention of the nation, he's come back to Earth over the last two games, scoring a combined 19 points on 6-of-17 shooting. Even so, he remains a solid fantasy option who's racked up eighth double-doubles on the season.

Ejim followed up Saturday's 48-point performance against TCU with a dud Monday vs. West Virginia, shooting just 1-for-9 and scoring six points in the 25-point loss.

Those who thought Ejim would parlay the breakout performance into a scoring binge were sorely mistaken, as the point total and field goal percentage were Ejim's lowest of the season. He was at least able to grab 12 rebounds for the fourth consecutive game in his 31 minutes of action.

Ejim (knee) returned Sunday after missing the first two games and had 22 points and nine rebounds in the win over Michigan.

The Cyclones were able to beat UNC-Wilmington and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi without Ejim, but the 6-6 senior proved he was the team's number one option against the Wolverines. He is a solid all-around forward.

Ejim hyperextended his left knee in practice and will likely be out until December, the AP reports.

Ejim was expected to be the main force in the Cyclone frontcourt. The team will lean on on Georges Niang, and Dustin Hogue and Daniel Edozie - a pair of juco transfers - could take Ejim's minutes.
