Nance (knee) has been fully cleared to practice, Jeff Borzello of CBS Sports reports.

Nance tore his ACL in February and missed the remainder of the regular season, in addition to the Mountain West Conference tournament. He was leading the team in scoring (15.4), rebounding (8.4), blocks (2.1) and steals (1.4) prior to the injury. Nance was voted the 2014-15 Mountain West Conference Preseason Player of the Year entering his senior season.

Surgery is pending for the Cowboys' leading scorer, who was 7-of-9 from the field Tuesday when he went down early in the second half. The coaching staff was informed of the severity of the injury Wednesday, and they'll now have to start finding ways to make up for Nance's scoring and rebounding production. Derek Cooke Jr. figures to inherit a larger role.
