Niang notched 19 points (7-13 FG, 3-4 3PT, 2-4 FT), adding a pair of blocks in a win over Texas on Monday.

Niang was the leading scorer in the game for either team on Monday, and he led the Cyclones to a big bounce back win over the Longhorns. He continues to impress and has now scored in double digits in eight straight games. Niang performs at a high level night in and night out, and should be in your lineup every time the Cyclones tip it up.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Niang is off to a solid start to the season, averaging 20 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists through two games this year.

Niang is coming off a disappointing end to last season where he fractured his foot, but he appears to be fully healed. Iowa St. big man is among the favorites to win Big Twelve player of the year, and his performance thus far proves why. While Niang will likely not be able to continue the averages he's posted so far, his combination of high points and rebounds makes him a great fantasy option throughout the season.
