Lee will return to Kentucky for his sophomore season, Jeff Borzello of CBS Sports reports.

In his freshman year, Lee averaged just 2.4 points in 6.3 minutes per game, however he was a highly regarded recruit out of high school and may have been drafted had he declared for the draft. Instead, Lee will be part of a very talented, yet crowded Kentucky front court that will also feature returning players Willy Cauley-Stein, Alex Poythress, and Dakari Johnson, along with the highly regarded Trey Lyles and Karl Towns as freshman. Despite Lee's great potential, he may struggle to find minutes again next season simply due to the competition around him.

Lee is dealing with stomach issues and will not play in Friday's game against the LSU Tigers, ESPN's Jeff Goodman reports.

Averaging just 2.4 points in 19 appearances this season, Lee isn't an important piece for this year's Wildcats. He should have the chance to earn a bigger role next year, after being overshadowed by other members of the freshmen class in 2013-14.

Lee had 17 points and one rebound Friday night against UNC-Asheville.

Lee is not as publicized as others in Kentucky's freshman class, but he could be an important piece nonetheless.
