RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lee exited Wednesday's game in UCLA with a head injury, and will not return, Jerry Tipton of the Lexington Heralt-Leader reports.

Lee, a Californian native, will not be able to finish his homecoming versus the Bruins due to a head injury that could turn out to be a concussion. He put up two point and two rebounds before leaving. His next opportunity to play will be Wednesday against Eastern Kentucky. Expect an update when more information becomes available.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lee had 13 points (6-8 FG, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds and two blocks in Monday's 75-63 victory over Illinois State.

Lee came off the bench for the first time this season, as coach John Calipari decided to insert Alex Poythress into a starting forward role. It didn't impact his playing time, however, as Lee still logged 30 minutes on the floor in the contest. It's unclear if Calipari plans to continue using Lee off the bench moving forward, but regardless of his decision, the junior's production doesn't necessarily appear in line to take a hit.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lee notched 12 points, eight rebounds, three dimes and three blocks against Albany on Friday.

Lee did not play much over the first two years of his UK career, but that could change this season. Despite another stacked freshman class, the Wildcats had a plethora of departures to the NBA last season, leaving Lee as a reliable fallback option for coach John Calipari.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lee will return to Kentucky for his sophomore season, Jeff Borzello of CBS Sports reports.

In his freshman year, Lee averaged just 2.4 points in 6.3 minutes per game, however he was a highly regarded recruit out of high school and may have been drafted had he declared for the draft. Instead, Lee will be part of a very talented, yet crowded Kentucky front court that will also feature returning players Willy Cauley-Stein, Alex Poythress, and Dakari Johnson, along with the highly regarded Trey Lyles and Karl Towns as freshman. Despite Lee's great potential, he may struggle to find minutes again next season simply due to the competition around him.
