Octeus, formerly of the Colorado State Rams, will transfer to Purdue, CBS Sports reports.

Octeus graduated from Colorado State after the 2013-14 season, so he has the right to transfer and play immediately. He originally had planned to transfer to UCLA, but because he wasn't able to gain entrance to the graduate school program there, he decided Purdue was his next best option. His last season with Colorado State, Octeus finished with averages of 13.4 points and 4.7 rebounds in 34 minutes per game.

Octeus will transfer from Colorado State to UCLA and be eligible for the 2014-15 season, CBS Sports reports. He averaged 13.4 points for the Rams last season.

Octeus has already graduated, so he will not have to sit out a year after transferring. He will have an opportunity to play for UCLA who are replacing their NBA-bound backcourt (Zach LaVine, Jordan Adams, and Kyle Anderson).
