Jok led the Hawkeyes with 35 points (6-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 22-23 FT) to go with five rebounds and three steals in the overtime win against Indiana on Tuesday.

The Hawkeyes snapped a three-game losing streak and Jok broke out of a scoring slump in which he had averaged 13.9 points in his previous seven games, due in large part to his program-record 22 free-throw makes. The 6-foot-6 senior is averaging 21.0 points and is hitting 92.1 percent of his free throws on the season -- both figures lead the Big 10.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jok scored a game-high 28 points (8-20 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 9-9 FT) and added nine assists, three rebounds, two steals and a block in 40 minutes during Wednesday's double-overtime loss to Minnesota.

It was just Jok's second game back after missing two contests with back and shoulder issues, but he looks to be past that as he notched 40 minutes and led his team in points. The senior is averaging 20.0 points and 7.0 rebounds since returning, right around his season averages of 20.6 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Iowa coach Fran McCaffery said that Jok (back, shoulder) would be available for Sunday's game against Nebraska, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Jok's status looked like it could come down to a game-time decision Sunday following a two-game absence, but it appears the senior guard has demonstrated enough progress in the past few days to give it a go. McCaffery could scale back Jok's workload if he experiences any in-game setbacks, but if not, look for him to approach 30 minutes as he usually does and shoulder the brunt of the offensive workload for the Hawkeyes.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Coach Fran McCaffrey said Friday that he believes Jok (back) will be able to play Sunday against Nebraska. "I think [Jok] will play, I think he'll be fine. I think he'll play well," said McCaffrey during his media availability Friday.

This is a significant development as the Hawkeyes could be getting their best player back in time for Sunday's matchup with the Cornhuskers. Although Iowa has won both games in Jok's absence, those victories have come against two of the bottom teams in the Big Ten. Jok has reportedly made significant progress in his rehab from a back issue, and McCaffrey's comments from Friday suggest he'll be back in the fold Sunday. Further confirmation figures to come across prior to tip, but at this time, Jok has an encouraging outlook heading into Iowa's meeting with Nebraska.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jok (back) is a game-time decision for Sunday's game against Nebraska.

Jok has missed two games due to his back and shoulder issues. The senior guard's issues have been serious enough to warrant conversations about shutting him down for the season. There will likely be more updates on Jok's status closer to Sunday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Coach Fran McCaffrey announced that Jok (back) has been ruled out of Tuesday's game against Rutgers, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Jok will miss a second consecutive game due to back and shoulder issues. Previously, McCaffrey had enough concern to consider shutting Jok down for the rest of the season. Iowa's star guard's next chance at return will be this Sunday against Nebraska. Isaiah Moss and Brady Ellingson will likely continue fill up his minutes in the meantime.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jok (back) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against Ohio State, Steve Batterson of the Quad-City Times reports.

Jok, whose unspecified back issues have raised concerns about shutting him down for the rest of the season, has averaged 15 points and 5.2 rebounds per game over the past five games for Iowa. The Hawkeyes will likely update his status prior to Tuesday's game against Rutgers.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Coach Fran McCaffrey said he would consider shutting down Jok due to his back issues if it was recommended by the team's trainers and doctors, however that has not been the case, Chad Leistikow of the Des Moines Register reports.

It seems that Jok has been dealing with some unspecified back issues, and they are serious enough to warrant consideration of shutting the guard down for the season. It sounds like Jok will continue to play through the pain for now, but owners should be wary. Jok is averaging 21.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.1 steals in 29.6 minutes per game.
