Onuaku confirmed Wednesday evening that he would remain in the NBA Draft, The Courier-Journal reports.
ANALYSIS
Louisville coach Rick Pitino had indicated to reporters earlier in the day that Onuaku would be going pro, but the 6-10 center later refuted those claims, saying that an official decision would come down later in the evening. Some extra time may have passed, but the reported decision never changed, as Onuaku will be headed for the professional level after just two years of college. Physically, there's little question that he's NBA ready, although he may need to refine some of the more technical aspects of his game before seeing consistent playing time.
