Giddings led all Prairie View A&M scorers with 18 points and added a single rebound to his overall numbers in 30 minutes playing time off the bench Monday as the Panthers fell to Jackson State 80-66 at home.
ANALYSIS
Five made field goals and a perfect 7-of-7 free throws left Giddings recording a career-high 18 points as Prairie View A&M's lead scorer on Monday. The junior also recorded his sixth rebound in three appearances in a personal-best 30 minutes playing time off the bench in the defeat. The 6-0, 180-pound guard has now topped 10 shots attempts in each of his last two outings - the first time he's done so at the collegiate level - and averaged 10 points a game in three of his initial four showings in the month of February. Unfortunately, such numbers do little in terms of improving a median 5.3 points a start in WAC matchups this season, nor draw attention away from the nominal 1.5 rebounds a contest Giddings is currently tallying versus conference foes.
