Fultz announced Friday that he will enter the 2017 NBA Draft.

The freshman phenom will head to the NBA after one dominant season at the collegiate level with Washington. He finished sixth in the nation in scoring, averaging 23.2 points per game while shooting 47.6 percent from the floor and 41.3 percent from deep. Fultz (6-4, 185) possesses a long wingspan for his size (6-9.75) and shows a savvy and feel for the game that is rare for a player his age. Fultz figures to be a high lottery draft pick provided that the knee issues he battled late in the season prove to be minor.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fultz (knee) will not play in Wednesday's game against USC, Percy Allen of the Seattle Times reports.

Barring an unexpected upset in the first round of the Pac-12 tournament, this effectively ends Fultz's collegiate career, as the freshman point guard is expected to be the first overall pick in the upcoming NBA draft. The injury isn't viewed as a serious one, and the team will proceed with caution with the top prospect. David Crisp and Matisse Thybulle will once again head the Huskies' backcourt in what could be the final game of the season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fultz (knee) will not play in Saturday's matchup versus USC, and is unlikely to participate in the Pac 12 Tournament, Christian Caple of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.

Coach Lorenzo Romar stated that the point guard's status for the Pac-12 tournament is "probably unlikely, but we still have a few days to go". Fultz's absence will mark his fifth in seven games. Given Washington is not in the postseason conversation, the freshman sensation is likely to air on the side of caution regarding his knee in order to ensure his health heading towards the NBA draft in June, presuming he enters. David Crisp and Matisse Thybulle figure to start in the Huskies' backcourt against the Trojans with Fultz sidelined.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fultz (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against UCLA, Christian Caple of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.

Fultz will now have missed four of Washington's last six games as he continues to battle knee soreness, and with Washington possibly only having two games remaining this season after Wednesday night, it's a legitimate question as to whether or not the freshman sensation will play again in a Washington uniform. Fultz's last chance to return in the regular season will be Saturday at USC, while David Crisp and Matisse Thybulle will likely start in the backcourt in his absence.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fultz (knee) has yet to be medically cleared for Wednesday's game against UCLA, leaving his status in question, Christian Caple of the Tacoma News-Tribune reports.

Fultz's knee continues to give him trouble as he missed his third game in five outings in Sunday's loss to Washington State. The fact that he has yet to be cleared with just over 24 hours until tipoff is not an overly encouraging sign, but Fultz hasn't been officially ruled out just yet, either. Look for more updates on Fultz' status throughout the day Wednesday, but if he's unable to play against the Bruins, David Crisp and Matisse Thybulle would likely start in the backcourt.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fultz, who played 30 minutes in his return to the lineup Thursday, will be on a slight minutes restriction once again Saturday against Arizona, Christian Caple of the Tacoma News Tribune reports.

Coach Lorenzo Romar will dial back Fultz's minutes a bit after the star freshman sat out two games with a sore knee. Fultz had averaged a whopping 35.8 minutes per game in his first 23 outings. Still, Fultz will still likely see plenty of playing time the rest of the way, even with the minor minutes restriction. Fultz will have a chance to further showcase his talents Saturday when the Huskies host a tough Arizona squad.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fultz scored 19 points (7-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt. 3-4 FT) with four assists, two rebounds, and two steals in the loss to Arizona State on Thursday.

Fultz returned from a two-game absence due to a knee injury and he had a chance to tie the game at the buzzer. He missed a half-court shot that reminded Arizona State coach Bobby Hurley of famous Christian Laettner's game-winner in the 1992 NCAA tournament. The presumptive top NBA pick will take on Arizona on Saturday. He scored 16 points on 8-of-23 from the field in the loss to the Wildcats on Jan. 25.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fultz (knee) will play in Thursday's game against Arizona State, Christian Caple of the Tacoma News Tribune reports.

After missing the past two contests, Fultz will take the floor Thursday. Fultz is one of the best players in the nation and is the focal point of Washington's offense, making him a must-play in all fantasy formats. Over his past eight games, he's averaging 25.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1.5 steals. and 1.5 blocks across 39.3 minutes per game.
